honestly for the amount of truffle and caviar they gave, the price is justifiable. I’ve never had a dish that had SO MUCH caviar like they were not stingy at all. Everything was delicious but it got a bit too fatty near the end I think maybe pairing it with someone less fatty would’ve been nice or having something in between the Wagyu and the duck. Other than that amazing ambience service and high quality ingredients. We were taken care of the moment we walked in til the moment we left. The space is intimate and well decorated.

No words are needed for this two-star Michelin restaurant—everything was exceptional. I loved every course they served, except for the final chocolate bites. The vibe and service were definitely worthy of two stars. While the portions were on the smaller side (you might not feel full at the end), you’ll absolutely appreciate the unique flavors of each meticulously crafted dish.

FOOD: best tasting menu restaurant I ever had. Dishes have a really good balance, great layers of flavor in each course, amazing presentation. For the first time ever I love all the courses on the menu. Dessert was a very fun part to eat, love the idea of micro ice cream cone, dry ice crunchy bits with passion fruit. DRINKS: long list of drinks to choose from plus wine pairing. SERVICE: top notch service, open kitchen with chef cooks everything in front of you and serve. The waiter takes care of drinks has great communication and really fun. VIBE: very upscale yet not too formal, the dark grey interior does give a cold and heavy vibe in there.

I absolutely loved my experience at Atera, from the service of everyone there, servers and chefs alike who all seemed in sync even when patrons were all at different parts of the tasting menu, to the actual mouth journey and experiences provided through the ingredients, the unique flavor combinations and how they were prepared. I would definitely come back to try a different menu. I included some of my favorite dishes, but it's definitely something to be experienced for yourself!

This was both the best travel experience and the best food experience I’ve ever had. 13 courses, 15 bites, every one executed to absolute perfection. I couldn’t pick a favorite dish. They were all to die for. We also got the non alcoholic pairing with the meal and it was so flavorful, not just flavored soda water like most “mocktails”. We were seated in an intimate room with the chefs plating the dishes at a station at the front of the room. It was dinner and a show all in one. The service was also exceptional from start to finish. I did so much research on which chef’s tasting menu to try in NYC, and ultimately picked this one. It was so good that I might not try another one when visiting nyc. I might just come back to this one every time. Those two Michelin stars were deservedly earned. Tasting menu was $298pp, non alcoholic pairing was $138pp.

We were blown away by the intimate setting, superior service and attention to detail at every moment of our dinner. The sommelier was extremely knowledgeable and curated a wonderful pairing for each dish. The seafood was impeccable and we appreciated the generous servings of caviar. We are adding this to your roster of favorite restaurants and must try dining experiences. We will be recommending this to others in our personal network!

No doubt that all culinary connoisseurs must visit this restaurant. The restaurant offers a perfect set which opens you different combinations of tastes and textures. Every dish is a piece of culinary art: all of them look awesome and opens in your mouth with a pleasure when you eat it. There are serving with white asparagus, black caviar, roe, truffle, foie gras and other specialties which represent high level of the place. For drinks there are a wine pairing option, wines by glasses and by bottles, teas and beverages. The counter seating area is very comfortable: you see preparations of every serving, have enough space around you and don’t touch elbows of your neighbors. You can really talk to your partner (if you’re visiting not alone) without being too rude to other visitors of the restaurant. Staff is very polite and friendly, their attentiveness helps you to fully enjoy your visit.

We hosted a work dinner in a private room at Atera and I will say it was the perfect choice! Food was amazing, wine pairing was fab, service was excellent, and the ambience was just right for hosting customers, prospects, and execs. The entrance was interesting and a bit mysterious (slightly dark and narrow halls) but as soon as you get in, you have a private room with 3 dedicated chefs waiting. Every single plate served was lovely and the ambience allowed for great conversations making the evening memorable. Would like to come back with my husband next!

I had an unforgettable dinner at Atena NYC on November 19, 2025 at 7:00 PM, and it was exceptional from beginning to end. The moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Every team member we interacted with was knowledgeable, attentive, and truly made us feel taken care of. A very special thank you to the chef, who graciously gave us a tour of the entire restaurant. It was such an unexpected and memorable experience, and it really showed why Atena has earned its 2 stars…the passion, precision, and pride behind every detail are unmistakable. The food was outstanding, beautifully executed, balanced, and full of flavor. Each dish was thoughtful and refined, with high-quality ingredients showcased in a way that felt both creative and comforting. The pacing of the meal was perfect, and every plate demonstrated the kind of technique and consistency worthy of its accolades. The wine selection was equally impressive. Our server guided us through pairings that elevated each course without overpowering the dishes. The wine program clearly reflects the same level of care and expertise as the kitchen. Overall, Atena delivers a truly remarkable dining experience, exceptional hospitality, refined cuisine, thoughtful wine pairings, and a team that genuinely cares. Their 2 stars are well-deserved, and I highly recommend Atena to anyone looking for an elevated and memorable dinner in New York City.
